The annual conference of International Society for Extracellular Vesicles was held from May 8 to 12 in Melbourne, Australia. The conference presented data from the latest scientific research on exosomes and other extracellular vesicles. Aleksander Abramov gave a presentation on the data from our latest research “Exosomal miRNAs as markers of the biological effects of plant extracts”.
According to the data obtained, it is possible to simulate the target effects on cells by selecting the necessary complexes of extracts, and monitor the effects of such exposure by assessing the miRNA expression levels. This could form the basis of new treatment approaches of serious diseases based on plant extracts.
